God's Expressions 

God shows his expressions,

In many different ways.

The shinning stars at night,

And the sun with warming rays.

With every blade of green grass,

You see each and every day.

Demonstrates how God loves this world,

And wants his children to play.

And when the waves come high,

And force their way on through.

It's then that God's expressions,

Are showing something new.

And what about loud thunder,

And lightening shows, yikes!

Are God and his angels having fun,

Bowling up some strikes?

We really never know,

What God has planned for us.

But if something in this world makes us happy,

We know God has sent that bless.

So next time you see a bird,

Soaring in the sky.

Know God is also watching,

And is always close by.

Our Gifts

Our Gifts Are For Encouraging

Help us, Lord, to see ourselves
Through your loving eyes,
To see what you see in us
And to come to realize

That everything that we possess
Comes directly from you,
The gifts, the talents you've placed within
Are there for us to use

To reach with hope to those that hurt,
To those who've lost their way
It's your gifts, Lord, they're not our own,
So take them, Lord, we pray

And use them for your glory,
So others may be blessed
And have their spirits lifted
And their souls also refreshed

So they can then be challenged
To seek more after you,
To be much more empowered
For what ever they may do

For each of us have talents
That God has placed within
So we can encourage others
To have a closer walk with Him

And as we encourage another,
We can be encouraged ourselves,
For there needs to be a continual flow
And a continual pouring out

And as we do this, we will find
Insecurities will disappear
And we’ll be strengthened in His love
To overcome our fears.

A poem for my husband

When you fall but can never stay down,

When you can make anyone smile through a frown.

This is a poem about my husband.

When you can make me fall in love with you each and every day,

When you always have found a way to make me want to stay.

This is a poem about my stranger.

When you keep me guessing the next amazing thing that you will do,

When you inspire others with the strong leader that's inside of you.

This is a poem about my hero.

Everything I Need

Everything I needed,

I asked for in my prayers.

My prayers were always answered,

In many different pairs.

I asked God for some courage,

And he answered with a hum.

He gave me some dangers,

That I would overcome.

I asked God for some strength, 

And he answered with a wrong.

He gave me some difficulties,

That would make me strong.

I asked God for some patience,

And he answered with a date.

He gave me some situations,

That I was forced to wait.

I asked God for love,

And he answered with throw.

He gave me lots of people,

That I could get to know.

I received nothing that I wanted,

Only that of which I need.

My prayers have all been answered,

With only a single plead.

Trust in Him

When things aren't going your way, 

it's because God has something different to say.

When love doesn't find you when you want it to,

It's because God is still writing your love story and wants the best for you.

When you can't see through life's storms,

It's because God is wanting you to see that you are never alone when you mourn.

When you fear and worry about life's trials,

Just continue to follow in God's way through the miles.

Inspirational Encouragement for Today

How great you have it

Remind yourself today how great you have it. Count your blessings, and take a few moments to dwell on their value.

Of course you have problems, challenges, limitations and all that. You also have opportunities, possibilities, resources, relationships, and life itself.

Shift your focus away from getting what you want, and point it toward appreciating what you have. Though you certainly don’t want to become complacent, allow yourself to enjoy a bit of satisfaction and gratitude.

Appreciate the goodness that surrounds you. Consider what good and valuable use you can now make of it.

Remind yourself how great you have it. Then see all the ways to act on your good fortune.

Even in the most difficult of times, it pays to remind yourself how great you have it. From just a little bit of goodness, when you truly appreciate it, you can build a whole lot more.

God's Way

Dear God,

Twists and turns face me and leaves me stranded,

Nowhere to look except to God who never leaves me empty handed.

What we battle are our soon to be stronger versions of ourselves,

And then left with the victory that will soon be part of the stories that we tell.

God as our critic and as our faithful fan,

Always cheering us on and telling us that we always can!

Remaining hopeful and brave in trust,

And always doing the good things that we must.

Living life like its a one time ticket to God's museum of art,

Enjoying the beauty while maintaining our unique, designed parts.

God, you always see the best in me,

Even when my eyes are too blinded to see.

You sculpted me with a purpose in mind,

I want to live for you while leaving my work of love behind.

Thank you for being all that you are,

I will always wear your blessings for me like a scar.

Loving From A Distance

It can't be said enough...always believe in the impossible because when you need to believe in miracles, the impossible is actually then possible. Long distance relationships can be your very own Cinderella mixed in with your rain scenes from the Notebook. At the end of the day, it is HARD! It is very worth it if you have found your Mr. Right but like any love story, it takes a lot of brainstorming, writing, and editing. Only the author can determine its twists and it's surprise ending but it all begins with a simple thought in mind, then an idea and then a goal.
